On Sunday, a big exercise was held in Sydney. The scenario was a jumbo crashed on a busy Sydney street with 500 injured people. During the exercise 500 cardboard patients was used. The ETS faculty in New South Wales was part of the exercise. ETS figurant cards was used in the field and when they reached the loading point in the casualty clearing station, the figurant cards was changed to ETS magnetic patients and management cards for their journey to hospitals.
On August 9-11 the ETS faculty in New South Wales (NSW), Australia conducted a Senior instructor course in Canberra. The course had participants from most of the Australian states; New South Wales, Victoria, Australian Capital Territory, South Australia and Queensland.
Emergo Train System has been used in New Zealand since 2008 and a large number of exercises have been performed by ETS instructors all over the country. We are now happy to inform that St John NZ since June 2016 is an ETS Educator faculty and can run national Senior instructor courses in New Zealand!
In May the ETS Competence centre held an international Senior instructor course in Sweden. 16 students from Finland, Belgium, Denmark, The Netherlands and Korea are now certified ETS Senior instructors and can run exercises in their own country!
