About ETS
Emergo Train System (ETS) is an academic / educational simulation system used in several countries around the world for training and testing the preparedness and management of emergencies, major incidents and disasters.
The latest set of ETS victim banks is now released - a bomb/blast victim bank! The bank can be used for scenarios such as for example:
The victims are divided into primary, secondary and quarternary injuries correlated to the distance of the energy source.
The bank includes most of the regular ETS patient outcome categories 1 to 25. The victim bank consists of a total of 100 patients with management cards. Some of the victims are children under 12 years. They can be evaluated using the special pediatric patient outcome template.
The victim bank have been tested in exercises held by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Jordan and in exercises held by KMC – Centre for Teaching & Research in Disaster Medicine, Sweden.
