The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and Emergo Train System (ETS) Competence Center jointly organized a workshop introducing the Emergo Train System to conference participants at the ’ICRC conference on weapon-wounded care’ held in Geneva December 17-18.
The focus was on an ETS module, Humanitarian set, specifically designed to prepare for humanitarian interventions in the environments where the ICRC operates. The module is cost-effective, lightweight, less bulky, and tailored to humanitarian conflict settings. The module have been developed in collaboration between the ETS Competence center and ICRC.
Participants received a comprehensive introduction to the system before taking part in an ETS-based mass casualty exercise covering the entire continuum of care in conflict healthcare.
The conference attracted nearly 400 participants, of whom approximately 70 attended the ETS workshop.
