The ETS Competence center have in collaboration with the ETS faculty in Zwolle translated and customized the ETS version 4 to Dutch. The ETS version 4 is available in pre-designed sets; Pre-hospital and Hospital set. The sets are available in sizes large, medium and small. To the sets you connect victim banks/in-hospital patient banks according to your needs. Many of the victim/patient banks are also available in different sizes.
A new ETS penetrating trauma victim bank is now released!
The victim bank consists of a total of 100 patients with various degrees of penetrating trauma due to for example gun shot and stab wounds.
Together with the WHO and it's local partners, the International Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR), the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) and the National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM), the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) conducted the 4th Health Emergencies in Large Populations (H.E.L.P.) course in New Delhi, India.
We are happy to announce that Emergo Train System now have initiated a partnership with the International Committee of the Red Cross! This broadens the use of ETS to facilitate and support international medical disaster respons missions. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed in February 2020 between International Committee of the Red Cross and Emergo Train System/Region Östergötland.
The Emergency hospitals in the Stockholm region have used ETS for several years. On January 21-23, the ETS Competence center conducted an ETS Senior instructor course at Södersjukhuset (one of the largest hospitalts in Stockholm). The participants came from all the emergency hospitals in the Stockholm region. There are now 12 new Senior instructors in the Stockholm region who can set up exercises with ETS!
After this year 2019 we can summarize that a total of 2 336 persons from 42 countries have participated in the standardized ETS Senior instructor course. This includes 271 new Senior instructors that was certified this year.
A new ETS Educator faculty was started in Greece this autumn and today we have 126 Educators in 14 faculties that have the agreement of conducting their own Senior instructor courses.
