Emergo Train System (ETS) is an academic / educational simulation system used in several countries around the world for training and testing the preparedness and management of emergencies, major incidents and disasters.

The ETS faculty in United Arab Emirates held an ETS Senior instructor course in October with 12 participants. It was the fifth Senior instructor course the faculty conducted this year!
October 23-25 the ETS faculty in Italy conducted a Senior instructor course with 16 participants.
The ETS faculty of the Trauma region in the North of the Netherlands (AZNN) is hosting an international ETS congress on April 5 and 6 2018 in Groningen, The Netherlands.
The goal is to bring the faculties and Senior instructors from all over the world together to exchange good practices. Welcome!

Starting September 15 a new organization have started regarding the ETS Competence center. Emergo Train System (ETS) is, as before, owned by the Region Östergötland and administrated at KMC - Centre for Teaching & Research in Disaster Medicine and Traumatology.
The interest in Emergo Train System increases. There are now 10 ETS faculties in 7 countries and over 1 700 certified instructors from 38 countries. The ETS Competence center have expanded with persons working on an operational basis with ETS as Educator Manager and Development Manager. They will together with the Operational Manager and Director form the operational ETS team. Beyound the operational team, we have also expanded with a new ETS Medical Director and a scientific advisor.

We are looking forward to continue working to develop and spread ETS internationally!
In August 22-24 an international ETS Senior instructor course was conducted with 24 participants from Denmark, Canada, South Korea, Finland and Scotland!

During 2018 the ETS Competence center will conduct two international ETS Senior instructor courses.
Course 1: March 13-15 2018
Course 2: October 9-11 2018
The courses are held at KMC - Centre for Teaching & Research in Disaster Medicine and Traumatology in Linköping, Sweden.
During the course the students learn how to plan, set up, perform and evaluate simulation exercises using the Emergo Train System.
