Development project ETS Humanitarian set
The ETS Competence center have a project together with the International Committee of the Red Cross to develop an ETS Humanitarian set that can be used by ICRC in their missions in areas affected by armed conflict and other situations of violence.
Some requests in the development project are:
- The ETS materials are customized to humanitarian and conflict environments
- A selection of patients from different ETS victim banks with injuries that are common in those contexts
- The material can be used for both pre-hospital and hospital exercises
- All material should be available and fit in one ETS box to be easy to bring on a mission
The material is developed and validated in the regular ETS process used for ETS development projects. The project is now in a testing phase and will be tested and evaluated by ICRC on a number of exercises in 2024.
