About ETS
Emergo Train System (ETS) is an academic / educational simulation system used in several countries around the world for training and testing the preparedness and management of emergencies, major incidents and disasters.
The ETS manual have been updated and a new ETS manual, version 2022-04-26 is now available for all ETS Senior instructors to download on the ETS website, page Senior instructor zone. The update of the ETS manual has been part of a project to revise and update the entire ETS Senior Instructor course which was completed in April 2022. During the project, the conceptual framework, all lectures, schedule for the SIC and evaluation template have been revised. All updates have been sent to the ETS faculties. The ETS Senior instructor course is conducted by 14 ETS faculties arround the world.
The ETS faculty in United Kingdom conducted an ETS Senior instructor course in Kettering, England March in 2022. With this course there are now 24 new happy Senior instructors in UK! Good luck with exercises!
Next course in UK will be held in Leicester May 17-19.
On March 15-17 the ETS faculty in Finland conducted an ETS Senior instructor course which resulted in 15 new Senior instructors! We wish all instructors good luck with future exercises!
The ETS Bomb/blast trauma victim bank is now available also in Dutch! The victim bank is available in medium (100 patients) and small (50 patients). All patients have a management card.
The bank can be used for scenarios such as for example:
terror attack
war scenarios
accident with explosion
In December 13-15 the ETS Competence center conducted a national Swedish ETS Senior instructor course. 20 new ETS Senior instructors are now trained to plan, set up, run and evaluate exercises using ETS. We wish them good luck with future exercises!
In November 3-5 the Interational Committe of the Red Cross (ICRC) had a Mass Casualty Incident Training in Beirut, Lebanon using ETS. Participants was from 3 hospitals, the Lebanese Red Cross, ambulance and the Lebanese University Task Force.
