About ETS
Emergo Train System (ETS) is an academic / educational simulation system used in several countries around the world for training and testing the preparedness and management of emergencies, major incidents and disasters.
From January 15-19 the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Gaza sub-delegation conducted a Basic Ambulance Responder Training (BART) joined by the Ministry of Health, Civil defense and the Military Medical Services. Several Mass Casualty Incidents (MCI's) were simulated in table-top exercises by using the Emergo Train System training material.
There is now an Irish version of the ETS Pre-hospital and Hospital set! Customization has been made in collaboration with the Health Service Executive National Office for Emergency Management in Ireland. HSE will start using ETS for training and exercises in Ireland and instructors were trained on the Senior instructor course that was held in Dublin in November.
In November 8-10 a first ETS Senior instructor course was held in Dublin, Ireland. The course was conducted by the Emergo Train System faculty in United Kingdom. We wish all new instructors good luck with future exercises!

The ETS Psychosocial support instructor course is an instructor course just for the ETS Psychosocial support module of ETS. During the course, the students learn how to plan, set up and run exercises with the ETS Psychosocial support set. The course content is lectures but also different demonstrations and group exercises. The students work in groups and set up and run two exercises and receive feedback from the course faculty. In november, the ETS Competence center set up a course in Malmö, Sweden. The participants was from different municipalities in south Sweden and can now set up trainings in their own organisations.
The ETS faculty in United Kingdom held an ETS Senior instructor course in Leeds September 6-8 2022. This was the third national ETS Senior instructor course in UK this year. An ETS Educator was also trained to be part of the faculty. We wish all the participants good luck with future exercises!
From October 3 to 9 2022 the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Gaza sub-delegation conducted a Basic Ambulance Responder Training (BART) joined by all 4 EMS actors active in Gaza (MoH, CD, MSS & PRCS).
Several Mass Casualty Incidents were simulated in table-top exercises by using the Emergo Train System training material.
