About ETS
Emergo Train System (ETS) is an academic / educational simulation system used in several countries around the world for training and testing the preparedness and management of emergencies, major incidents and disasters.
In December 2013 the ETS faculty in United Arab Emirates conducted a national Senior instructor course with 13 participants. The course was held in Al Ain and students came from Al Ain Hospital and Sheik Khalifa Medical City.
An Emergo Train System workshop was held by the Region of Zealand in Slagelse, Denmark on November 27.
A Decontamination at Hospital set version 3 is now released for all certified ETS instructors. The Decontamination at hospital set contains of a victim bank with victims exposed to either ammonia or cyanide. The victims have been exposed to various degrees of the Chemicals and are developed for the purpose of running simulation exercises were the scenario results in a need to decontaminate the victims Before treating them in the hospital.
A military victim bank version 3 is now released for all certified ETS instructors. The Military victim bank consists of patients with 'war-injuries' - both severe and minor - such as for example penetrating gun wounds, penetrating blast injuries, burn injuries, tissue injuries, psychological shock, for the purpose of running simulation exercises in a military setting.
A burn set version 3 is now released for all certified ETS instructors. The burn set consists of a victimbank with various degree of burn injuries and is developed for the purpose of running simulation exercises were the scenario results in a large number of patients with burn injuries.
Emergo Train System in New South Wales, Australia conducted in May a simulation exercise where the scenario was a fire in a theatre.
